One waterfall is magnificent. We saw two. Standing at 60 metres tall and located at Bao Loc, the Dambri waterfall simply took our breath away. We stood in awe as the water splashed onto our faces, refreshing our minds and simply making us feel like a whole new person. Not forgetting our objectives of the trip, we were briefed on how the waterfalls were formed. If you thought the pictures in our textbooks gave a clear and beautiful view of the features of a waterfall, you should have been there to come face to face with the plunge pool, potholes and observe how the waterfall retreated to form TWO waterfalls. The name "Dambri" means hopeful, and it was named so as a girl had once waited fervently for her lover right there. The story of the girl gave us a whole new meaning to the waterfall. As hopeful as the girl was, we wished that our teachers would allow us to spend more time there and relax our minds, amidst this beautiful creation of Mother Nature.
